For security reasons, executable files cannot be sent to recipients’ e-mail boxes, so Webcam sends all created video files in .asf format rather than as .exe files.

High Degree of Compression
30 sec. of video material can equal to a file size of about 80 MB in AVI format, but Webcam can compress these 80 MB down to a manageable file size of approximately 300 KB.
